Minter Ellison.
The top-tier Australian law firm’s Construction Law Made Easy website is an important resource for both the construction industry and their legal representatives. The site was no longer fit for purpose, with poor user experience, a confusing glossary function and out-of-date content. Minter Ellison asked Komosion to redesign and redevelop the site.

It looks so good. It's so much easier to use, clearer. I love the new templates and the way the case studies are done.
Our Approach
The main challenge was the length, complexity and density of the content to be shared. We needed to make it readable and digestible, even engaging.
Based on analysis of the existing website’s user flows, interviews with information experts at Minter Ellison and an exhaustive analysis of the different types of content to be displayed, we focused on:
- Streamlining information Architecture
- Refining search filters to the ten most relevant and
- Simplifying and modernising template designs
- Creating rules to automate the Constructionary Glossary, removing manual updates.
The new Construction Law Made Easy website was launched in November 2020. Q1 2021 results have been encouraging:
- Website users up 21.2%
- Pageviews up 29%
One user from Homes Victoria was kind enough to share the following feedback with Minter Ellison’s ICT team:
“Just a short note to say thank you for this high quality and educational source on anything and everything about Construction Law. As a project manager, both the Constructionary and Construction Law Made Easy sections equip me with the knowledge and give me the confidence in handling the procurement process…This is the best source on construction law I can find on the internet. Keep up the good work.”
