How we use AI

We use AI every day and help other organisations do the same. This page explains how we use it, who stays in charge and what happens to your information.

People stay in charge

AI drafts; people decide. Anything that matters, such as advice to a client, a message sent on someone’s behalf or a change to a live system, is checked and approved by a person before it goes ahead.

Your data stays yours

Client data stays in the client’s own systems and licences, under their security settings. We give AI tools access only to what a task needs. We do not use client information to train AI models. Where we run a service for a client, they own their data and can bring it in-house at any time.

Every workflow is documented

For each AI workflow, we record what it can see, what it does and who approves it. We test it before it goes live and log its actions so they can be reviewed.

Independent advice

We don’t resell any AI vendor’s licences. We recommend the tool that suits the client, whether that is Microsoft Copilot, Claude or a custom build.

Decisions about people

We do not use AI to make decisions that significantly affect an individual’s rights or interests. If that changes, we will say so here and in our Privacy Policy.
