Community First – Website Development
Community First Credit Union and Komosion have enjoyed a long partnership, working together since 2006.
We’ve developed numerous websites together including www.communityfirst.com.au, www.mcgrathpinkvisa.com.au, www.easystreet.com.au and www.matrimoney.com.au and have continued to work together carrying out website enhancements across all the sites.
Community First approached Komosion to redevelop their website which was driven by the desire to put the customer first – to improve the customer experience, enhance engagement and ensure the site was optimised for use across all devices.
Client: Community First
Komosion worked with Community First to redesign and redevelop the website. Set live in May 2016 the Community First website redesign and rebuild using user-centred design principles to re-architect and built the new fully responsive website. Komosion provided training to enable Community First to manage content and continue to provide ongoing site support.
Kanvas.cloud includes all of the granular access permissions that Drupal has available as standard. The solution has been built to enable varying roles within a business to develop and deploy content as required. Technical know-how for day-to-day site editing is minimal with training provided to ensure that each content editor can accurately create, edit and publish content. Kanvas offers value for money through:
- Allowing content managers to be self sufficient in site content creation
- Minimising the reliance on agency resources for minor site enhancements
- Utilising a large suite of contributed modules allowing organisations to leverage the work of 1000s of developers worldwide
- An Open Source code base allowing for solution portability
- A modular architecture that allows scalability and growth with organisational requirements
“The new platform allows us the ability to update information such as interest rates and disclaimers in a single place,” said Aletia Fysh, Head of Direct Channels, Community First Credit Union.
“Using structured data, it will replicate the rate and disclaimer associated with that product, every place that product is mentioned. This saves us time and allows us to be agile when new products and offers become available.”
